So I just wanted to talk a little about how Faith begins, and how we can develop that faith.
As we learn in Alma 32:21 "And now as I said concerning faith—faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true." Faith is not about knowing everything there is to know about something.
Later on in that same chapter of Alma we read, " But behold, if ye will awake and arouse your faculties, even to an experiment upon my words, and exercise a particle of faith, yea, even if ye can no more than desire to believe, let this desire work in you, even until ye believe in a manner that ye can give place for a portion of my words." To start out in finding faith we simply have to desire to believe. If we are earnestly seeking for truth and have a desire to follow Christ then we will receive answers to our questions.
So let us 'experiment' upon the words of the prophets. Let us choose faith, and let us push onward.
